Registration Instructions

You can register if you either intend to submit predictions or just want
to receive updates on the progress of the experiment.
There are five separate registration forms. The first three forms should be used
by group leaders to register a group for CASP14 experiment (regular or server).
Only one group leader is allowed per group. The fourth form should
be used by group members other than leaders to establish person's association
with the group. The fifth form should be used by observers not intending to submit
		predictions.

As in recent CASPs, CASP14 will evaluate two classes of predictions.
First, the 'regular deadline' predictions, in which groups may use
any combination of human knowledge and machine methods, and where there
is usually at least three weeks in which to prepare models. Second,
'server' predictions, in which target sequences are sent to server machines
that must submit models within 72 hours, without any human intervention.
Target queries will be submitted to your servers
by the CASP distribution server and will also be collected by this server.
Server curators should prepare their servers according to the
	         server-specific submission rules .
Those intending to submit automatic predictions must register as a 'server'.
Those intending to provide both 'regular'- and 'server'- type
predictions must register separately for each but under
different group names (e.g., MyGroup and MyGroup-serv).

		-
		Register a regular prediction group

 -
This form should be used by a group leader to register a 'regular' (3-week deadline) predictor
group for participation in CASP14. It should NOT be used to register servers.
Group members other than group leaders should register through a different
Register as a member of a group form. Once
registered, they will be able to see the list of their groups and group members
alongside with the assigned by a group leader submission privileges through
		"My CASP14 profile" link.
The leader of the group may assign some group members to submit predictions for
the group through "Review member status" option under "My CASP14 profile"
		link.

		 -
		Register an HTTP server group

 -
This form should be used to register a fully automated computer server accepting
HTTP queries for participation in CASP14.
Server team members other than group leaders should register through a different
Register as a member of a group form. Once
registered, they will be able to see the list of their groups and group members through
		"My CASP14 profile" link.

		 -
		Register an email server group

 -
This form should be used to register a fully automated computer server accepting
queries via email for participation in CASP14.
Server team members other than group leaders should register through a different
Register as a member of a group form. Once
registered, they will be able to see the list of their groups and group members through
		"My CASP14 profile" link.

		 -
Register as a member of a group

 -
This form should be used to register group members other than group leaders
for both regular and server groups. Once registered, you will be able to see
list of your groups and other group members through "My CASP14 profile" link.
If you wish to have submission privileges, please ask your group leader
		to assign them for you.

		 -
		Register as an observer

 -
This form should be used by those, who are interested in CASP14, but
do not intend to submit predictions.

Note, that this registration is NOT the registration for the December
conference. Details of the conference registration
will be posted at our web site later.

                Multiple group registration in CASP:

CASP discourages multiple group registrations from the same set of people.
Generally, predictors may only register as members of one regular
prediction group and /or one server group.
However, we recognize that there are circumstances where multiple registrations
are appropriate (one group with two methods addressing different problems,
such as comparative modeling and contact prediction, for example). If you want
to register multiple groups, you are requested to register your first group,
		and then write to
                casp@predictioncenter.org
explaining the reason for the multiple group request. If your request looks
appropriate, we will increase the number of allowed groups for you.
Multiple registrations that have not been pre-approved will be canceled.
Be advised that this issue will be examined later by the assessors and
organizers, and we reserve the right to disqualify additional groups
if there is no valid difference between them.
