REMARK This submission contains the ab initio prediction of residues 1-66
REMARK of the 66 residue sequence of domain 1 of protein g3 from filamentous phage fd.
REMARK
REMARK    This is our first attempt a using Genetic Algorithms for 
REMARK    conformational search on complete proteins the method was tuned
REMARK    to perform simulations on protein fragments. The submitted
REMARK    structures should for that reason be used to measure progress
REMARK    rather than represent an accurate model. We have applied
REMARK    the method described in (Pedersen & Moult, PROTEINS vol 23, 454-460, 1995).
REMARK
REMARK    An explicit constraint was added between Cys7-Cys36 and Cys46-Cys53
REMARK    as described by Kremser, A. & Rasched,  Biochemistry, 33, 13954-13958.
REMARK    
REMARK    The submitted conformation represents the two 
REMARK    lowest energy structures obtained in 4 Genetic Algorithm simulations.
REMARK    These four GA simulations were seeded with the 400 best structures
REMARK    obtained in 10 Monte Carlo simulations.
