METHOD The secondary structure prediction is a combination of a nearest
METHOD neighbor method and a neural network method. I addition ORFeus is
METHOD used to find a homologous proteins with known structure. The secondary
METHOD structure of the homologous protein is taken into consideration when
METHOD assigning the final local conformation. The procedure is not fully
METHOD automated and the final prediction submitted to CASP is always based on
METHOD manual analysis of the results. Other public methods are used as 
METHOD source of additional information and are taken into account before
METHOD the final decision is made.
