REMARK Many structures in the stage2 tarball were used.
METHOD Using pieces of 23000 proteins selected by statistical potentials for low backbone energies, 
METHOD an ensemble of 3000 compact full-length decoys was built as a source of segments for swapping.  
METHOD In the first round of a GA algorithm, fragments 1 to 30 residues in length are swapped into small random
METHOD subsets of models in the stage 2 tarball. In subsequent rounds, evolution was driven by
METHOD selection functions focusing on removing atom overlap and optimal packing.
