REMARK The procedure starts with the predictions of secondary structure 
REMARK using methods of Gibrat(J. Mol. Biol., 120, 425, 1978), 
REMARK Maxfield(Bioch.,15, 5138, 1976) and Qian(J. Mol. Biol., 202, 865,1988). 
REMARK The consensus location of secondary structure was used for 
REMARK prediction of coordinaton number vector (Rodionov, Mol. Biol., 
REMARK 26,777,1992). These data were used for the reconstruction of contact matrix
REMARK       (Galaktionov, Proc. Int. Conf. Syst. Sci., 5, 326, 1994). On
REMARK the basis of this matrix, in turn, 3D prediction was carried out. The 
REMARK initial reconstruction  of spatial structure uses elements of distance 
REMARK geometry. A refinement procedure was oriented at correction of 
REMARK chosen intraglobular distances and removal of stressed contacts by 
REMARK minimization of the corresponding squared deviations (penalty 
REMARK function P ) with respect to Ca coordinates. Elements of non-local 
REMARK search were introduced by routinely and systematically inverting the 
REMARK configuration of loop fragments and controlling the change of the 
REMARK penalty function P. The set of structures with comparable values of 
REMARK penalty function P was obtained; they were used for correction of the
REMARK distance matrix for distance geometry algorithm, etc.
