REMARK There are two structures for recoverin, which appears to be the best
REMARK template for the neurocalcin delta target sequence:
REMARK X-ray structure (1rec) and NMR structure (1iku).
REMARK The structural differences between the two structures are large
REMARK and are apparently triggered by the Ca(2+) ion and myristoilation of
REMARK the N-terminus. Thus, two models for neurocalcin delta are submitted:
REMARK The first one is for the structure in the presence of calcium and the
REMARK absence of myristoilation, and the second model is in the absence of
REMARK calcium and the presence of myristoilation. We submitted two models
REMARK because there is no information about the crystallization conditions
REMARK and postranslational modifications of neurocalcin delta.

REMARK The Bvalue field contains a measure of MODELLER restraint violations for
REMARK the residue. This is an indication of the uncertainty of prediction
REMARK but it is not equivalent to an error in angstroms.
REMARK
REMARK This myristate modification was modelled on the equivalent modification 
REMARK in the NMR structure of the template protein. In addition, 
REMARK myristoilation requires a GLY residue at the N-terminus, so the first
REMARK MET residue in the model was deleted, as indicated by the 0 occupancy.
REMARK The NMR template structure, and thus the model, do not have the 
REMARK calcium ion. See also the remark above.

REMARK  MODELLER (Sali & Blundell, J.Mol.Biol. 234, 779-815, 1993) is a
