REMARK 
METHOD   blastp was used to find homologous sequences of which a multiple 
METHOD   sequences alignment was build and used as seed for HMMer. The 
METHOD   resulting hmm was used to search against a version of pdb which 
METHOD   only contains proteins of less than 90% homology. One significant 
METHOD   hit was found (empirically estimated E-value: 0.0009). Although 
METHOD   the secondary structure predicted for the target does not 
METHOD   overlap well with the secondary structure of the PDB-entry, this 
METHOD   entry was choosen as a parent. 
METHOD   A specifically developed neural network scored all alignments on 
METHOD   basis of their secondary structure overlap. None of the alignments 
METHOD   achieved good scores and the top ten scores showed random folds. 
METHOD   Thus a blind use of the program would have resulted in the prediction 
METHOD   that no similar fold exists in the database. To reflect this a 
METHOD   second model claiming no similar fold in the database is submitted.
