METHOD The alignment to 1tum was created with PSI-BLAST.  1TUM and the 
METHOD alignment were used to build the homology model of T0090, using an 
METHOD automated procedure and the global optimization technique in ICM. 
METHOD Using the given alignment, the amino acid sequence of T00090 was 
METHOD tethered to the structure of 1TUM. Conformations of conserved residues 
METHOD were kept identical to those of 1TUM. Monte carlo (MC) search was used 
METHOD to find the lowest energy conformation of nonidentical residues. 
METHOD Conformation of insertions and deletions were predicted using the 
METHOD MC method. The structure was minimized to remove clashes and steric 
METHOD strain to obtain the final structure.  The model is designated 
METHOD "unrefined" to reflect the crude product, which is designed to help
METHOD probe the reliability of automated methods.
