METHOD  This prediction is based upon structural recognition, based upon
METHOD  counting the number of hydrophobic contacts and on scoring the 
METHOD  energy with a modified Miyazawa-Jernigan matrix.  The structural
METHOD  threading used here included an iterated, exhaustive search for
METHOD  single insertion or deletion regions.  After identifying a good
METHOD  match for the entire sequence with structure 1bg6, a visual
METHOD  inspection of the structure suggested that residues 388-567 and
METHOD  residues 568-631 should be threaded separately. This improved the
METHOD  recognition of the match of the N-terminus region with structure
METHOD  1bg6. Subsequent threading of the C-terminus section indicated a 
METHOD  good match with structure 1bpy_A.
