METHOD  FUGUE identified the target sequence as a member of the
METHOD  superoxide dismutase family.  All potential template structures
METHOD  have around 40 % identity with the target.  The structures
METHOD  1idsA and 1abmA were used as template.
METHOD  Alignment given bu FUGUE was optimised by hand using 
METHOD  the sequence editor SEAVIEW.
METHOD  JPRED2 prediction was used to guide the alignment between the template
METHOD  and the target sequence.
METHOD  The alignment of the template to the target sequence was used as the
METHOD  basis to the input of the program MODELLER4.  The CHECK_ALIGNMENT facility
METHOD  of the program was used to optimise the position of the deletions in the
METHOD  target.  Several random models were generated and the model with 
METHOD  the lowest -Ln(Molecular pdf) score was further investigated.
METHOD  Two loops (56-65, ~150-160) were regenerated using CODA 
METHOD  in order to improve PROSAII and Verify3D profiles.
